Last night, the brave Republicans in Congress gutsily chose to ignore the whole... you know... torture thing. Dependable Republican Henry Hyde chastised the Democrats for making... you know... the whole torture thing... an occasion for partisan posturing.
I say hooray! Yes, let's make the whole torture thing a partisan issue, because it sure is a good one. Let's embrace this concept and admit it: "You're right, Mr. Hyde*, Democrats want to investigate torture allegations, but Republicans don't; Democrats don't believe torture is part of the American way, but Republicans do; Dems think torture is bad, but Reps think it's good. You're totally correct, Mr. Hyde, it's a partisan issue."
Sounds like a winner to me.
*Tip: remember to always address him as "Mr. Hyde" with mocking emphasis. Americans always respond well to pop culture references.

Basically, everything has turned into a partisan issue.
Only now, the two parties are Good and Evil.
Guess which one Mr. Hyde belongs to?
If the right has its way, the next big Partisan issue will be Jews and Blacks (except Condi, she's white on the inside).
