By the Numbers

The number of times Bush uses variations on the word "terror" in tonights SOTUstravaganza? 20 superfantastic times! But heck, that's too easy. Some other numbers:

Number of times the following words are used:

  • Warrent: 0
  • Constitution: 3
  • Wrong: 1
  • Wrong (applied to self): 0
  • Pink: 0
  • Sparkle: 0
  • Iran: 6
  • Iraq: 16
  • Children: 7
  • Pony: 0
  • War: 2
  • Superfantastic: 0

And I guess nutty Cindy pulled some typically homegrown, clumsy yet attention-grabbing stunt. Good for her, I suppose.

How do you have this up already? I'm watching it "live" on CNN Asia (since I'm in Korea) and am playing the SOTU drinking game.

You take a drink every time the Prez mispronounces a word, mentions North Korea (once already!) or the camera cuts to Alito.

I'm gonna be DRUNK!

OMG, he just started talking about the Patrot Act!

Now don't you get mean with my Cindy, Princess. I agree with you on the "typically homegrown, clumsy yet attention-grabbing stunt" but her version of the story is pretty amazing. Check it out.

The congress rep's wife was wearing a long sleeve T shirt with SUPPORT THE TROOPS on the front.
I didn't catch the name- but the hubby was on CNN this morning whining about his goofball wife getting ousted.
If she wanted to be more legit, her shirt should have said SUPPORT THE WAR.
We all support the fuckin' troops- that's why we want them home.

Mmmm... not all of us do. I, for instance, don't.
