Angelina Jolie to World Economic Forum: Please Don't Be Dazzled by My Fabulousness

I guess all the stars headed directly from Sundance to Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum. Angelina Jolie found it necessary to remind the conference attendees to stay focused and please stop being awestruck by the glittering, godlike celebs who have alighted in their midst.

Bless her.

Added Monday morning tidbit: Gawker brilliantly demonstrates Condi's out-of-itness.

wtf ever, with all the using of "celebrity pull power" to influence. They can afford to go, they go, they get galked at and make sanctimonious comments, and who gives a rat's ass. I have serious trouble believing that Angibrad have a meaningful impact on the proceedings, or have gone there for any other reason than to assuage their own celeby guilt.

Then again, my "Aunt Flo" is in town, so maybe I'm just pissed about that.
Right now, I could totally set kittens on fire. Kittens from Darfur.

taj, I think you totally need to listen to the Monday Audioblogging selections about 10 times, and then I'm sure you'll feel way better.

Kittens from Darfur... LOL.

The media in Australia is reporting not only on Hamas suicide bombings, but also the charitable works they do in Palaistine that helped them win over the people, perhaps more so than the unbridled hate they have for Isreal. I was wondering if the fact that Hamas builds schools and funds hospitals was at all reported on in the US?

Maybe if Bush did some high profile charity, we would stop caring about who he kills.

I'd feel way better about Bush if he was doing something to save the kittens.

"The actress and her man". How will they ever get any work done? Oh, that's right. They never get any work done anyway. They're 'the global elite'!
