Own It, Bitches

I can't even talk about this latest sick Republican stunt.

I blame Murtha. The intrepid McCain field ops would have never figured out that race-baiting would have truck in SW PA if that arch-socialist Murtha hadn't clued everyone in on the redneck factor.

Just a suggestion, but maybe the next time they should ask someone to look into incidents like this before they start making a big deal. You know, someone who will look at the situation objectively, instead of someone eager for it to be true. Someone trustworthy. Better call a Democrat the next time.

I'm sorry, but I love that photo. Is that wrong? I think this stuff is getting to me today.

OhNoTheyDi-n't!

Is this photo real? Is it a photoshop?

Following up on what anon commenter #2 said- are these the kind of reactionary a-holes we should allow anywhere near the Football?
It's for that reason alone that McCain poses a real danger to the very Country he pretends to put First. There's absolutely nothing humorous about it.

Come on, now!

That was directed to the comment above you, Steve.

Oh my word...

if you're wondering what the meaning is, a Republican volunteer claimed a black man robbed her and carved a 'B' into her cheek. Since then she admitted it was false.

Bwaa haa! Fabulous photo manipulation! What's even better: The stupid little git who tried to pull this off may face a Class D felony, which will prevent her from voting!!!!

Well then, Mission Accomplished!

...Poor little Stepford Zombie didn't realize she was being thrown under the bus for someone else's *cough John McCain cough* political gain.

I totally have my WeHo costume planned: a backwards "B" on my face and a fake black eye, and I win.

Looks authentic to me.

See, the problem with the McCain supporter's story was that she didn't think the whole thing through enough to say that it was a six-foot-four dyslexic black man who cut her. . .

Thank you Sparkle Pony.

Thank you from the bottom of my surrealist heart.

I hate to sound like a broken record, I really do, but... more reports of diebold voting machines switching votes are coming in from more states. I'm really worried that folks' votes will not be counted correctly, and that the picture in this post represents the next administration. Worse, I worry that there is going to be enough doubt of the legitimacy of that administration that we'll start seeing real civil unrest, not the stupid stuff like this racist fakery. And that will work to the parasites' advantage as well, as ,ost everything does.

I think I need coffee: maybe I won't be so paranoid/depressed...

Jeebus, I'd almost believe it, the way the campaign's been going!

It's interesting that it doesn't seem to occur to people that those Eeevil Vote-Counting-Wrong Machines don't actually have to SHOW you that they're "checking the wrong box," graphically, on their screens. They could just present false vote counts at the end of the evening. If you were going to design a voting machine to rig an election, you would NOT scare voters by ILLUSTRATING FOR THEM that their votes are being counted wrong. That wouldn't make any sense at all.

The B, the black eye and a T-shirt: "McCain/Palin - because black men are scary." Ready for Halloween.

amen...I was thinking the same thing...my kid probably would get a kick out of it, but I'm afraid he'd get himself in trouble (believe it or not, there are a good amount of Mc Cain/Palin supporters where we live...)

I'd like to respond to duh in more detail, but I feel like I'm hijacking... The stuff I've read sounds like malfunctions, but if voters aren't paying attention, their votes could be transposed. I have heard no reports of action being taken based on the complaints. I note that all the reports I've read about are in decidedly "red" states. This would seem to support your point. I guess that after the last 2 presidential elections, I'm feeling like any bad thing could happen.
